Mets Sign New Faces

The Mets picked up some much needed pop in the lineup with some new player acquisitions for 2008. Mark Wallace, Jeff Arellano, Cade Wormington and Issac Montross all signed with the New Mexico Mets.

Mark Wallace played his college ball at Eastern New Mexico University and was an all conference player. Wallace grew up in Alamagordo where he was a national All-American in a year where he was the only player from New Mexico selected for that honor. Wallace will sure up the front of the Mets lineup.

Jeff Arellano rejoins the Mets after a one year hietus. Arellano played shortstop for the 2006 MABL champion Mets and was the shortstop for the Cubs with many of his Mets teamates. Arellano will add some pop to the front of the Mets lineup.

Cade Wormington joins the Mets for the 2008 regular season after playing with the Mets in the MABL World Series in 2006 & 2007. Wormington last played for the Yankees of the MABL.

Issac Montross was a teammate of current Met Justin Munoz in high school in Gallup and will see time in the outfield and flashes a strong throwing arm.
